Prerna grew up in a home that was never quiet with scent. Jasmine strung through her mother's hair. Sandalwood smoke curling from the prayer corner at dusk. The whole street turning sweet with mango in the summer heat. In India, scent was not decoration - it was memory, ritual, and welcome, all at once.

Years later, settled in Atlanta, she went looking for those smells in a candle - and kept coming home disappointed. The "sandalwood" was sharp and synthetic. The "lavender" smelled like floor cleaner. The "mango" was pure candy. Everything promised the feeling of home and delivered a chemical shortcut instead.

It began at home, the way the best things do. Prerna knew exactly what home was supposed to smell like - she had spent a lifetime breathing it in. Her son, Aryan, grew up between two worlds: her stories of India and the streets of Atlanta, with the patience to learn the craft and the drive to turn a feeling into a business.

Together they taught themselves to pour. They chose a cleaner, natural coconut-soy wax over cheap paraffin. They tested wicks until the burn was even, edge to edge. They tracked down real materials - the creamy heart of Mysore sandalwood, the soft floral of French lavender, the resinous warmth of a true amber. What started on a kitchen table became a small Atlanta studio, and a name to put on it.
