◆ Why Three Wicks Are Right For 14 oz
A 14 oz candle is a wide vessel - and three correctly-sized wicks are exactly what it wants. Three wicks melt a wide jar evenly, edge to edge, and throw enough scent to fill a real room. Put a single wick in a jar this wide and it can't reach the glass: it tunnels straight down the middle, leaves a thick ring of wasted wax on the walls, and never fills the space. Right-sized and enough of them beats one lonely flame.
Single wick, wide jar

- Full melt pool, wall to wall
- Strong, room-filling scent throw
- Clean, even burn with no wasted wax ring

$38 · 14 oz · ~45 hr burn
Free shipping over $50
The value: roughly 45 hours of burn from one 14 oz three-wick candle works out to about $0.84 per hour - and because three right-sized wicks give a true full melt pool, none of it is wasted on an unburned wax ring. A single-wick candle in a jar this wide can leave a third of its wax stuck to the glass.

◆ The Fruit Behind The Scent
Mango isn't just a fruit in India - it's the national fruit, woven into summers, myth, and memory. This candle is built to capture that sun-ripe spirit.
~50%
Of the world's mangoes. India is the largest producer on earth, growing roughly half the global crop.
1000+
Varieties. India is home to over a thousand kinds of mango - the fruit is known as the "king of fruits."
Alphonso
The prized one. From the Konkan coast, named after Afonso de Albuquerque, a Portuguese viceroy of the early 1500s.
Why We Made It
"Mango is a whole season compressed into a fruit - the smell of an Indian summer, sticky fingers, a bowl of it after dinner. We wanted that joy in a candle big enough to fill the room, but not the flat, sugary "tropical" note most fruit candles hand you. So we built the mango real and juicy, then cooled it with coconut cream so it rounds out instead of screaming sweet - and gave it three wicks so it carries across a whole open space. A little escape you can light on a grey Tuesday and feel the sun."
- The Singhal Heritage House
This Candle Is Built To Fix:
Fruit candles that smell like candy - a flat, synthetic sugar note. This is real ripe-mango juiciness, cooled by coconut cream.
Sweetness with no balance - cheap tropical candles are one loud sugary note. Coconut rounds the mango so it stays fresh, not sickly.
Single-wick jars that tunnel - one wick can't melt a wide jar, so wax wastes on the walls. Three right-sized wicks burn clean and even.
Paraffin soot over long evenings - petroleum wax burns hot and smokes. Coconut-soy burns cooler and cleaner, even over hours.
A throw too weak for the room - a small candle disappears in an open space. Three wicks carry the scent wall to wall.
Scent that fades by hour two - cheap wax can't hold fragrance. Coconut-soy grips the oils, so the throw stays true to the end.

How Each Batch Is Made & Checked
◆ Our Pour & Burn Standard
Every candle is hand-poured in small batches and checked against the same burn standard before it ships - the things that actually decide whether a candle burns clean, even, and long.
| Wax |
Coconut-soy blend, chosen for a cooler, slower, low-soot burn and strong fragrance hold |
| Wicks |
Three cotton wicks, sized and spaced to the 14 oz vessel for a full edge-to-edge melt pool without overheating |
| Melt-pool check |
Test-burned so the pool reaches the glass edges within the first 2.5-3 hours - the guard against tunneling in a wide jar |
| Burn time |
Approximately 45 hours total, measured across controlled test burns of no more than 4 hours each |
| Fragrance load |
Blended so the mango stays juicy and real while the coconut cream keeps it balanced, not cloying or sooty - and strong enough to carry across a room |
| Finish |
Each vessel checked for a smooth, even top and three clean, centred wicks before labelling |
Why Most Fruity Candles Disappoint
If your last mango or tropical candle smelled like a scented eraser and faded in a day, it usually comes down to four things - and none of them are the wick's fault.
The 4 reasons cheap fruity candles fall flat
01
A flat synthetic "candy" note
Real mango is juicy, tart, and a little green at the edges. Cheap candles use one sugary aroma chemical that reads as generic sweet fruit and never rounds out.
02
No coconut to balance it
Mango on its own can turn one-note and cloying. Coconut cream cools and rounds it, the way it does in a real tropical dessert - most cheap versions skip that balance.
03
Paraffin wax fighting the fragrance
Petroleum wax burns hot and can smell faintly of fuel under the scent. It also soots, which is why a room feels stuffy after an hour of burning.
04
Too few wicks, too weak a throw
One under-sized wick in a wide jar can't melt the wax or push the scent across a room. Three right-sized wicks and a coconut-soy blend that holds more oil fix both.
Scent Profile
Top NotesA burst of ripe, juicy mango with a bright squeeze of tropical fruit - fresh and lifting, a little tart.
Heart NotesCoconut cream and sun-warm mango flesh, with a soft touch of tropical sweetness - the part that fills the room.
Base NotesSmooth toasted coconut and a whisper of warm vanilla, grounding the fruit so it stays creamy rather than sugary.

How to Burn It Well
◆ Six Steps · Get Every Hour From Your Candle
1
The First Burn Sets Everything
On the first light, burn about 2.5 to 3 hours - until the wax melts all the way to the edges across all three wicks. Wax has a memory; this first full pool prevents tunneling for the candle's whole life.
2
Trim All Three Wicks
Before every relight, trim each wick to about 5mm. Long wicks flicker, smoke, and soot the glass. A quick trim keeps all three flames small and clean.
3
Burn in Sessions of 4 Hours
Don't burn longer than 4 hours at a stretch. Beyond that the wax overheats and the flames grow. Let it cool, trim, relight.
4
Light All Three, Every Time
Always burn all three wicks together. Lighting only one melts the wax unevenly and can tunnel a wide jar - the three are sized to work as a set.
5
Keep It Out of Drafts
Steady flames burn evenly. Fans, AC vents, and open windows make them flicker, tunnel, and waste wax. Place it on a level, heat-safe surface.
6
P.S. - Retire It at 12mm
Stop burning when about 12mm of wax remains to protect your surface and the glass. Then wash the vessel and give it a second life.
Candle Safety
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Burn on a level, heat-resistant surface.
- Keep away from curtains, paper, and anything flammable.
- Don't move the candle while the wax is molten or the glass is hot.
- Trim all three wicks to 5mm and remove any debris before lighting.
- Keep away from drafts, vents, and fans.
- Stop burning when 12mm of wax remains.

Best Mango Coconut Candle · Real Tropical Scent
What makes this a real mango candle, not a synthetic one?
Most candles labelled "mango" or "tropical" rely on a single sugary aroma chemical that reads as generic candy fruit. This candle is built to capture real ripe-mango character - juicy, bright, a little tart - then balances it with coconut cream so it stays fresh instead of turning into one flat sweet note. Poured in Atlanta in a coconut-soy blend, the fragrance releases slowly and evenly across roughly 45 hours, carried across the room by three wicks.
Best 14 oz Three-Wick Coconut-Soy Candle
Why choose a 14 oz three-wick coconut-soy candle?
A wide 14 oz jar with three correctly-sized cotton wicks melts evenly, edge to edge, so you burn all of the wax instead of leaving the wasted ring a single wick leaves in a jar this wide. Coconut-soy wax burns slower and cooler than paraffin, produces far less soot, and holds fragrance oil better, so the scent throw stays true from the first hour to the last. Together they give roughly 45 hours of clean, strong, room-filling burn at about $0.84 per hour - ideal for a living room, great room, or open-plan kitchen.
Tropical Candle for Larger Rooms & Gifting
When is a mango coconut three-wick candle at its best?
A bright, fruity-creamy candle lifts a room the moment it's lit - a cheerful open kitchen in the morning, a grey-day pick-me-up in the living room, or a warm welcome for guests in a great room. The 14 oz three-wick size and low-soot coconut-soy wax suit larger and open spaces, and the universally-liked mango-coconut scent makes it a generous, crowd-pleasing housewarming, hostess, or birthday gift.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why does this candle have three wicks?
A 14 oz jar is a wide vessel, and three right-sized cotton wicks melt it evenly, edge to edge, from the first burn. A single wick in a jar this wide tunnels down the middle, wastes wax on the walls, and throws too weakly to fill a room. Three wicks give a full melt pool and a strong, room-filling scent.
How long does it burn?
Approximately 45 hours total. Three flames burn through wax faster than one, so a jar this size doesn't last proportionally longer than a small single-wick - what you gain is a much stronger throw. That is about $0.84 per hour of burn.
Does it smell like real mango or candy?
Real ripe mango - juicy and a little tart - rounded by coconut cream so it never turns into flat, one-note candy sweetness. The coconut balances the mango the way it does in a real tropical dessert, and three wicks carry it across the room.
What is coconut-soy wax?
A natural wax blend that burns slower and cooler than paraffin, soots far less, and holds fragrance better. Paraffin is a petroleum by-product that burns hotter and smokes more.
What size room will it scent?
A 14 oz three-wick is sized for a strong, room-filling scent - a living room, great room, open-plan kitchen, or entryway. For a small, personal space like a desk or bedside, our 8 oz single-wick is the better fit.
How do I avoid tunneling?
Let the first burn run about 2.5 to 3 hours until the wax reaches the edges across all three wicks, trim each wick to 5mm before relighting, always light all three, and burn no longer than 4 hours at a time.
Is it safe in a closed room?
Yes, with normal candle safety. Coconut-soy and cotton wicks burn cleanly with low soot. Three flames put out more heat and scent, so it suits a larger or open room best. Keep it on a heat-safe surface away from drafts and never leave it unattended.
What can I do with the empty glass?
Warm and wipe out the last of the wax, wash the wide jar, and reuse it - as a catch-all bowl, a planter, a holder for utensils or brushes, or a vase.
What if it arrives damaged?
